What is Microblading?

​

Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a semi-permanent pigment is inserted into the skin, one stroke at a time into the eyebrows with a hand held tool. This is for more natural looking eyebrows.

​

*Not Recommended for Excessive oily skin

What is Microshading?

​

Microshading is a combination of Microblading and Shading to give Eyebrows a more defined and fuller look.

By adding hair like strokes in the front with more color shading in the middle and tail end. It can be done with a manual round shader or by a machine. Shading can be darker or lighter depending on client preference.

*Recommended for All Skin Types

​

How long does it take?

​

The process can take up to 4 hours.

This includes: A complete consultation, brow mapping to fit each clients unique facial shape, tweezing, shaping & topical numbing (30 min.) Brow hair color match and then the actual Microblading/Shading session.

​

Please Note: This is a two step process. After the first session you will need to come back for a final touch up within 6-10 weeks to complete the look.

What does it feel like?

​

Every one has a different tolerance for pain. A topical anesthetic is used before and during the treatment that contains lidocaine to numb the area being treated. This will help to ease the process and make you feel more comfortable. The pain level can be described as moderate to none.

​

What are the treatment consequences?

​

Mild Swelling and Redness usually occur after the treatment. In some cases there may be light bruising depending on your skin type and sensitivity.

​

What can be used to help the healing process?

​

After the treatment you will be provided with After Inked Skin Care to help relieve the itching and soothe the brows. You can also use Ice Packs for a few minutes at a time.

​

*Do NOT leave Ice Pack on for an extended amount of time.

​

How long does it last?

​

The pigment used is Semi-Permanent. It can last from 1-3 years depending on your skin type, after care, skin regimen/treatments, exposure to sun or UV Light / Tanning beds.

​

*Touch Ups are recommended after a year to maintain shape and color.

​

How to Prepare before the appointment?

​

Please avoid caffeine, alcohol, herbal teas with caffeine and any blood thinning medications 24 hours before your appointment.

​

*Never Stop taking Medications without consulting your Doctor first*

 

Please avoid taking Vitamin E oil, Fish oils or Turmeric oil 1 weeks prior to treatment.

 

Please avoid any Harsh Skin Care Treatments, Botox, Fillers,

Micro-dermabrasion, Mesotherapy, Chemical Peels 3 weeks ahead of your appointment.

 

Waxing, Threading or Tinting should be avoided at least 1 week ahead of time.

​

Stop using Retinol or Retin-A 1 week prior.

​

Stop using Hair Growth Serums/Enhancers 1 month prior.

​

Avoid Tanning beds and Direct Sun Light at least 4 days prior.

​

*Please Note- If you are Sunburned, have Irritated Skin or Blemishes on the  brows then you cannot receive treatment and will need to Re-Schedule your appointment.
